The same contents can be used in any container. The plant does best when the container is not too deep for the size of plant being grown and the root system it produces. Here are several types of containers I use:

The result of growing papayas successfully in a 

large container was discovered purely by accident...

You can read the whole story in my book! To our surprise, it made it through the first winter loaded with fruit.  And even more amazing we are still harvesting Papayas from this tree, five years later! We picked and ate a ‘tree-ripened’ papaya today; February 9^th, 2017!  Yum! Yum!

We are using a pot, and the 2 x 4 garden tray to grow Pineapples!

It started out as a temporary holding container until we could replant them.  They were doing so well we decided to leave them!  We have harvested 4 nice Pineapples so far, and two plants are forming fruit right now!  They were amazing in flavor; very juicy and incredibly sweet!!!

The 2 x 4 Garden Tray with a Custom Built Stand is great for growing lettuce, greens, herbs, 

onions, radishes, beets, etc.

Our first 2x4 Garden was a wood box that we built.  It was too heavy to move so we changed to the 2 x 4 Garden Tray.  A friend offered to build a custom stand with wheels on two of the legs for easy moving!  It was the perfect replacement for the garden box!

2.  Hydroponic Bubbler Buckets

Welcome to the world of Hydroponics! This form of container gardening uses no soil or potting mix. The plants are fed Liquid Organic Nutrients placed in a bucket of water.  For a one-step method, use FreeMart Mineralizer from the beginning; no additions needed throughout the growing season.
